Clinton J. Montgomery

J.S. Clinton Montgomery came into the legal profession the long way.


Born and raised locally, Clinton attended Asheville High School.


Striking out to Chicago Illinois for his undergraduate education, Clinton attended DePaul University majoring in Philosophy and minoring in International Relations. While at DePaul Clinton played left wing for the DePaul Blue Demons hockey club, winning the Division 2 Midwest Conference championship.


For two years, Clinton pursued post graduate education at the University of North Carolina Charlotte in the discipline of Cognitive Science.


Following his studies in Charlotte, Clinton began his career in the United States Air Force as a Russian Linguist. He received numerous accolades while providing critical intelligence from battle fronts across the globe.


Upon completion of active duty service, Clinton was admitted to the University of Tennessee College of Law. When he wasn’t studying, Clinton rocked out with his band “Bad Neighbors” on the Cumberland Avenue strip. Committed to honoring the Air Force values of “Service before self”, Clinton received a provisional license to serve as a student attorney for the UT Wills and Trusts Clinic, as well as the Family Mediation Clinic


Today, Clinton is the latest addition to the Parsons’ law roster and looks forward to settling back into his hometown community.
